eg: Me and my husband share the chores at home. He washes the dishes, and I do the laundry.

eg: He cooks, I wash the dishes, so we both do some chores.

fill me in – to fill in gaps of knowledge with information

eg: Do you wanna fill me in with what you’ve been up to?

eg: I’ll fill you in about the details later.

my immediate family – very close, mother, father, children

eg: My immediate family is not too big.

my extended family – farther away

eg: There are dozens of people in my extended family that I’ve never met.

Alpha Female – a boss female, a girl who takes charge

eg: She is quite the alpha female, definitely the boss of the family.
