eg: An anonymous donor.

induce labor – to start the process of giving birth, possibly early

eg: My sister had to induce labor on the 22nd. The doctors were worried about her pregnancy, so they wanted to supervise the whole process.

fertilize – to provide with growing material, can be used for a woman’s egg for pregnancy.

eg: Artificial insemination is the process of fertilizing a woman’s eggs.

womb – the baby’s place to grow inside the mother

eg: The baby is growing in her womb.

postpartum depression – when a mother becomes depressed after giving birth

eg: Postpartum depression can be very serious for the mother.

miscarriage – when a pregnancy fails

eg: After her miscarriage, she waited a few years to try to have a baby again.
