Grammar

Simple sentence structure:

Subject (who) – Verb (does) – Action (what)
My brother writes his homework
My teacher writes his class plan in the class

more complex sentence:

(who) -(does) – (what) + [details]

My teacher writes his class plan [in the classroom]

I received a parcel from Taobao this morning

Present tense 现在
(present / infinitive)
I go to school
I eat breakfast
I travel to Japan.

Past tense 过去
I went to school
I ate breakfast
I travelled to Japan

regular verbs 
infinitive +d or infinitive + ed
travel -> travelled
work -> worked

Irregular verbs
eat -> ate
go -> went
is -> was
am -> was
buy -> bought

Future tense 未来
will + present/infinitive
I will go to school tomorrow.
I will eat breakfast with my friend next week
We will travel to Japan in 2020.

How to learn verbs:
Buy (present / infinitive) – bought (past simple) – bought (past particle)
Eat (present / infinitive) – ate (past simple) – eaten (past particle)

have + past particle
I have eaten breakfast.
I have received a parcel.
I have bought a gift for my friend’s birthday.

I have not eaten breakfast yet.
I have not booked the hotel yet.
I have not received the parcel from Taobao yet
