Writing : What was the biggest scandal in 2018? / what is the thing you remember the most about 2018?

I work in Loreal. I used to work with marketing

In marketing team we have a lot of foreign colleagues and we both speak and write a lot of English. But now I work in sales. Sales team is very local, Lets say this week I can’t recall any English speaking situation this week. But I don’t want to lose my English so I try SE and keep my English going.
And for myself I am a working mother. My daughter is only 1yo. Before I had a baby, traveling but since I got pregnant I haven’t travelled for 2 years so instead I read more and staying with my baby is also a happy thing for me.

I think in China things get better, because Chinese women now. In Ancient china women are taught to be nice and shy but now it is totally opposite. women are quite aggressive and also because we are single child. Its like you are the princess of the family and when you go to work nobody can hurt you because you are princess. If my boss told me if you can stay with me this night you can get promotion I would definitely shout out and talk to the HR. I think the different culture impacts the unconventional characteristics in Chinese female.

It is different among city tiers. In top cities it is acceptable. Women are treated relatively equally. But in low tier cities, as far as I know there are still some strange culture. Like women cannot eat lunch at the table they have to eat in the kitchen. If it is how they do in the family then when it come to work things won’t be much better because culture makes the call.
