So many bosses in the party and not much alcohol.
They talked about some business so it was boring. Not suitable for young people, it was a business meeting.

I just came back from Sanya , there was the strawberry music festival.
Strawberry is from Modern sky it is the biggest music company in China. They manage many independent bands and started hosting it 10 years ago.

people couldn’t enjoy different kinds of music. In these  10 years other countries diverse.
We had rock & roll bands in the 1980s and more and more kind of musicians came out.
She sang a song during the first spring festival gala on CCTV in 1983 and it was featured in a movie.

It is an important moment for music marketing, it developed very quickly.

Modern Sky signed a lot of musicians and focused on the independent market.
The first was in Beijing and they invited foreigner bands to join the festival. And it became very famous in the past 10 years.

Now Strawberry music festival is still the biggest and the most famous in China.

We have different music festival but Modern Sky controls a big part of the market and have many independent bands. They give priority to their own bands.

They have the strawberry music festival abroad in the past year -> They started to export the music festival to South East Asia.

It is a first time I manage a band to go to Europe on a tour.
A lot of things I never did it before -> there are a lot of unknown

I don’t know how to export this band to the European market
If you have songs or album on Spotify they can see their songs are popular.
They can know you from this platform but this is a new band and they only have 2 or 3 singles released before we perform in Holland.

No one tells me how to manage it and make it popular. We just try and perform one by one -> take it step by step.

I don’t feel I am ready. I think we will face a lot of new problems / problems we have never met before.
They only focus on the music and the performance.
Even bad reactions -> if problems happen I will have 

I feel stressed  / I am under pressure about the money / about our budget We will pay a lot and the income can’t cover all the expenses / we can’t break even so I want to control the costs / reduce the budget.

If we cannot earn the money from this trip ->if we cannot make a profit I want to have our band become more famous from this trip. / I want to at least get more people to know about our band.

But I don’t have any idea about that. / I don’t have a clear plan.

We aren’t familiar with anything. / everything will be new.

We have confirmed 2 music festivals. One is in Holland on June 1 and then we have a gap and the last one is on July 8.

We have 2 performances in Berlin and they will be in jam bars and live houses.
I am shy so I am not confident enough to say hello / to break the ice.

I can’t understand them totally so.
I need to prepare something or get ready for embarrassing situations.
