Writing exercise

From 2011 to 2013 total sales of iphones grow rapidly from about 70m to about 150m. Then sales remain stable around 160m from 2014 to 2015.

Looking at the sales breakdown / sales details we notice in 2011 70% of sales were sales to new users then after that the proportion of replacement sales keeps increasing and in 2015 more than 70% of sales are replacement sales.

This may show saturation in the smartphone market

Graph 7:

solution 1: Sales range/wave from 20 to 40 during the year except when they peak at 60 in June but then return to the range in July

solution 2: Sales are on an upward trend in the first half of the year, they peak at 60 in June but then they follow a downward trend in the second half and reach 20 in December

Graph 8:
From Jan to May sales are on a downward trend. They drop significantly in May and bottom at 20. Then sales recover entirely in June reaching the previous level of about 55 and they follow an upward trend until December peaking at 80
