The previous collaboration I paid more money. / I paid more than the market average
I think her quotation is higher than the average at this level because she is a student, she is not a famous artist.

But I fulfilled her request for the last collaboration because it was ok for our budget. / it was acceptable / it was within our budget
She could not deliver the right piece so I think I didn’t need to pay her.

If I were her I wouldn’t ask for money for this time because the last time I gained more money and this time I couldn’t do the work.
That is a tricky situation.

I couldn’t understand her behavior, she sent messages to our wechat account to tell the story and my colleagues told me and I told the whole story because this student just sent some screenshots on weibo.

We found a solution because we care about our brand image / we need to protect our brand image and we were worried if she sent the screenshot to public areas like her own weibo account and ours that would be a big problem for our brand / it would create a scandal for our brand.
So we decided to pay her but if she wants to get the payment she needs to talk to me / on the condition that she talked to me to get the payment but she deleted my wechat so our colleagues told her to find me again./to add me again
She told my colleagues to ask me to add her.
2 days later she added me but she didn’t say anything.

She thinks she is an artist, she doesn’t think it is work / she doesn’t take it seriously. / she doesnt understand what a commission is

She did/revised the draft three times and I approved it because I though she could understand what I wanted.
And her style matched so I paid first.
But the previous illustrator she revised it many times but none of the versions were satisfactory.

She accepted when I said that she couldn’t do it.
She said we copied her ideas. / she accused us of plagiarism

She could only  tell me what she learned from book / the theory

I think it is strange.

In order to achieve a good sales target, we prepared a lot before the event. According to the characteristic of the city, we create a specific theme about the linkage between architecture design and fashion design. There are several parts including mix&match, watch making and golden foil experience. Golden foil was a tailor made activity for this event. We worked with a illustrator to create a picture which has relevant theme/which is relevant to the theme. At the beginning, I was trying to collaborate with the one with which we worked once before / I tried to collaborate with the one whom we worked with before. / I tried to work with a previous collaboration artist.
I gave her a detailed brief: a building from the city  / a representative architecture picture from the city and a designable piece from our platform, I asked her to combine them together to be a whole image. She found a good building whose architect was a famous designer / which was designed by a famous architect , but she couldn’t present/deliver what I wanted.  And many days later, there was not any good news even though I shared a lot of references. Then I made the decision to change to another one/ I decided to ask another artist.
Two weeks later, the previous illustrator came to ask for a compensation, but I rejected it since there was not any satisfying versions. / but I refused because she didn’t deliver anything satisfactory

The last day of the event, I received a message from her. The main purpose was judging me by her ethical standards and then deleting my wechat. I thought it was the end. Inexplicably, she sent a message to our weibo account to complain again. In my opinion, there were threat in her words.
