VIP Class Notes (Tibo)

Speaking exercise

I have been 1 year in the UK .
there are business we should discuss.

we provide foundation tech for companies.
It includes automatic speech recognition. Natural language processing …
We provide solutions around NLP tech.

Most of these examples are related to this scenario.
We help Audi set their bots into their apps and when the customers visit your app they can talk with bots.

Most people would like / most people prefer to talk with humans. / most people are not happy when a computer answers them
They have a lot of customers so they should implement/adopt the tech to help their agents to reduce work load.

but cantonese we also can provide. -> we can also provide cantonese

data is owned by themselves  / they keep full control of the data
They are concerned about first if the bot is intelligent and can help them to understand the customer and give them a good performance.
That also means they have the high quality for our NLP engine. -> they have high expectations. / their requirements are very high …

If it can help them to solve customer’s problems…
We deploy it into their own server.
There is a lot of work, training AI data or operation work are things we can provide in the future. / there is a lot of work, we can provide training services and operation services…

we can continuously (adv) provide service for them. / we can provide continuous (adj) service for them

Our scenario also includes AI surveillance
When your salespeople / sales staff  make communication/communicate with your clients we can make surveillance  of/ monitor their conversation and sometimes extract labels to remind your staff if the feedback is right or where you should give some feedback.

Sometimes their manager wants to check if the representatives are polite / respectful
We would tell clients it is not only the function of surveillance, it can help them have better performance and give them the right suggestion. / it is also a tool to improve their performance…

Most financial institutions (they) would like to implement AI and they have the budget for it

they have enough budget -> their budget is big enough

the function of AI isn’t obvious
the return on investment isn’t always positive

For us to implementation the system we only need to take 6 months. -> for us to implement the system

there is a lot of data to input in/into the system and lawyers have a lot of information but you know the work of communication or house cleaning I think it can’t be replaced.
AI robots is a hardware not a software which can replace some human resources.

We visited their CTO and he told us they don’t put AI bots as their service principle is to give warm service to their customer rather than bots. / they use AI bots because it conflicts with their value of welcoming customers warmly…

I don’t see the interesting point of the tech.
You should have a lot of human resource to build them. That is not smart

If there are 1k pieces of data an AI trainer would take 1 or 2 month to train on this data

they can put the tech into one generation -> the innovation will come from them
