VIP Class Notes (Tibo)

Speaking exercise

I was in the late night meeting  related to Thailand top

Globalwise is arenas a lot of people left

the most awareness thing is 60% of leavers is within 6 months.
They want to figure out it is hiring problem or management problem

It is quite stressful meeting so the speaking is from HR team and tomorrow I will have the meeting with London team as well.
For my problem is we want to hire Japanese and Korean people but they don’t want to hire native speaking because cost and we need to extra working on the visa.
It takes a lot of efforts from other functions and another problem is when hiring non Chinese employees we need to give them rental fee.
This is an extra cost.

Japan is easy because they can use the web phone.
It is not easy to manage the business in China and it is hard to explain to western people because they look at Asia as a whole.
I try to talk with my boss we should continue focus on native speaking.

We tried hiring one Chinese can speak both English and Japanese but the language level is average.
but the company thinks we can hire Japanese speaking Chinese so my boss thinks it is difficult and suggested me to talk with London HR directly

1 – if the Japan market is focused n the international why we need native speaker
2- if we hire Japanese speaking Chinese it should be focused on the Japanese part instead of the international part

everything is easy for me but when we figure out the risk in 2022 because we didn’t prepare enough talents.
When business is small the key success factor is human.
