The pie chart illustrates what anthropology graduates chose to do after they got their bachelor’s degree from one university. The table indicates how much they earned in work after five years’ work. Overall, most of the graduates were employed and after five years’ work, their salaries were mostly more than $50,000 for freelance consultants / in freelance consulting , government sector and private companies.

Firstly, let us start from the pie chart. 52% of them have full-time jobs, while 15% of them were occupied by part-time work. There were 13% of graduates choosing to go on postgrad, with 8% of them studying full-time and the rest having past-time job when completing postgraduate study. The figure of unemployment was 12%. Finally the occupation of 8% of the graduates was unknown / we don’t have data on 8% of them. / what the last 8% of graduates is doing is not known.

As the table shows, after 5 years’ work, there are 4 salary ranges for three industries: $100,000+, $75,000-99,999, $50,000-74,999 and $25,000-49,999.

Those who worked in government sector accounted for the highest earners among the 3 groups ,  50% were top earners (100k+), 30% in higher range (75-99k) and 15% in the lower range (50-74k).
The proportion of highest and second highest salary range for freelancers was 40% each. Followed by the third range at 15%. In private companies, top three salary range were nearly one third. At the range $25-50,000, the figures were the lowest in the same field, it was 5% ,5%,10% respectively / for each type of employment.

T2:
Children are often told that they can get anything by their hard work in some culture. I believe there are several positive and negative impacts on them. / I believe it has both positive and negative sides.

This concept conveys a kind of positive opinion and motivates children to try their best to do anything. It is important for children to teach them to make great efforts since this the best time to help them to cultivate good habits at an early age. Some children do not understand persistence that means they easily give up when they meet difficulties. If parents or teachers let/leave things happen, as a result, children will not only avoid completing difficult math equations, but also escape the problems in their lives. It is the reason that the students’ extracurricular reading materials are often inspirational books such as Robinson Crusoe and How was the steal tempered.

There are, however, some disadvantages. Firstly, there are many factors leading to success, and effort is only one of them. The reasons for success are always complicated, and talent, resources and family backgrounds are involved in it. When some can not gain what they want, it does not means that they do not work hard. The possible reason is that there is someone who may have more talent or more supports. Another drawback is that it might cause overconfidence or a negative attitude. If students are taught by this view, they will not accept failure since they consider must reach success.

In conclusion, we should educate children in all aspects, encouraging them to struggle for success   / encouraging them to struggle  and teaching them to be optimistic in frustrating situations.
