Speaking exercise
I am a freelancer but I have a new job offer last Monday. / I work as a freelancer but I will start working in a company again next Monday / next week
I will work for an ad company and serve/service the Kering group
I want to practice my business English.
I had an IELTS test in May but writing and speaking were lower
I thought I had a lot of vocabulary in my mind but couldn’t use them flexibly
-> I thought I had a wide vocabulary but I realized I didn’t / I wasn’t able to use it in various situations / I thought I knew many words but I realized I wasn’t able to use them flexibly
It is harder for me to talk about specific topics.
I am planning to apply to a masters degree in the UK so maybe I need a better score / I might need to improve my IELTS results
At first I enjoyed it but after the quarantine it I struggled
I started traveling domestically / I went on a domestic trip
This year I got anxious so I planned to work / to go back to a company and apply to a master’s degree but it is gonna be busy now.
Very relaxed half a year and nervous the rest of the year / the first half of the year was very relaxing but now I will get busy for the second half.
I have just been there for once for a transfer -> I was there once for a transfer
At first it was very nice but after a week it felt boring / I started to be bored
The political situation / the policies make living there stressful because Cuba doesn’t have network connection. / network connection is not readily available there.
if you want a connection to the internet you can only use it in hotels.
It is only accessible for foreigners.
I can do simple movements but I prefer to swim.
I tend to sweat easily.
Back then I was in college and my English level was at its peak.
The British museum shocked me a lot -> The British museum really impressed me / left a big impression on me / It amazed me.
I learned how to ride a bicycle. It is not really hard but you are afraid of it.
