e.g. Last night I watched a good movie.

Hear vs. Listen – this the same idea about ability and a period of time
e.g. Can you hear me? Is our connection ok?
e.g. We are going to listen to the new cd tonight.

Pre – this means “before” when you put it on the front of a word
e.g. Before we go to the movie, let’s check the preview.
e.g. At the company, we have a pre-review (the time when we prepare to do our quarterly review).
Re – usually this means “to do something again”

Grammar

Use the simple past for something that already happened and is done.
— The simple past is any verb with “-ed” on the end, or others like spoke
e.g. Did you talk to him? Yes, I talked with him yesterday.

It was really nice to meet you today.

Speaking exercise

Just like when I see you in front of me, you can understand what I am talking, but when I go for the really professional meeting, I’m afraid to talk. When you talk really professional in the email, it’s more like they will treat you different. I understand that my English problem is that I have not really study with the traditional grammar. Sometimes my spelling is really bad.
