Anhui has a profound culture, especially “The Four Treasures of The Study”.      

The Chinese Brush is a traditional writing tool, it is also widely used in painting. It is a treasure that China gave to the world.

Chinese ink comes from coal, and it is the main material used in Chinese painting and calligraphy. Ink is produced by grinding an ink stone with water.

Xuan Paper has a history of 1500 years and is considered China’s national treasure. It is a unique handicraft, with a soft and tough texture, smooth as jade and enjoys the reputation of “millennium longevity paper”.

Ink stone is a necessary tool in Chinese calligraphy and is one of the cultural heritages from Anhui.

Hui Cuisine
Hui Cuisine is one of the “Eight Cuisine”  in China. It is known for its freshness and diverse cooking styles. One of the signature dishes is Shrimp Egg Noodles. It was a luxury dish for locals for many years. However,  people can have it anytime now. It is cooked with fresh shrimp eggs and soup made out of bones. Not only is it delicious but also nutritious.
