T1:
The bar chart illustrates how traffic accidents decreased in Bridgewater due to newly-built extra lanes on busy roads.

Overall, the accidents reductions per kilometre all reduced on these five busy motorways, and four of them dropped more than a half.

There were 5 motorways on the whole(M1, M2, M3, M4, M5). M2 and M5 had the most incidents at 17 per kilometer. After they were introduced to new lanes, the number of traffic accidents on M2 had a light drop to 15 per kilometre, which was the least obvious one. On the contrary, there was a sharp drop on M5 reaching 7 per kilometre. M1 ranked the third most incidents number at the beginning and plunged to 5 per kilometre. There were the least accidents on M3 and M4, at 4 and 7 per kilometre respectively. After new lanes were built, they became the safest roads among these five motorways at only 2 per kilometre.

T2: Some people think that governments should give financial support to creative artists such as painters and musicians. Others believe that creative artists should be funded by alternative sources.

People have mixed views on who will give a hand on creative artists, government or alternative sources. Both views will be discussed in this essay, followed by my own.

Some think government should take responsibility for it, since most people are exposed to art circumstance scenes at some public sites, such as theatres, museums and galleries. These places normally collect many antiques and artworks, which can represent the culture, history and heritage of a city or a nation. Therefore, it is no doubt that such a large amount of money should be invested by the government into public facilities related to art. Furthermore, it is not easy for artists to see returns on their efforts invested investments in the arts field. If governments do not pay bill for it, those creative artists might be give up their struggle enthusiasm for artistic creation. Without their presence funding, our cities and nations would be less interesting and attractive.

Others, however, think these fundings should be provided by other sources. One of the reasons is that the return on art investment is high, it which means that people earn much huge amounts of money by auctioning or selling artworks. It is reasonable to invest by these beneficiaries therefore it is reasonable for thembeneficiaries to invest. Another is because government have much a lot more priorities concerns, such as infrastrature, eduction, healthcare and so forth. Compared with these, arts is more like a luxury. If the limited budget of the government is too much allocated to the art industry, other basic industries wil be affected.

In my opinion, although there are good reasons as to for why creative artists should rely on alternative sources of financial support, government suould play a more active role on this issue. The government imposes taxes on arts trade and business so that there are is enough money to support for the development of the cultivation of artists. Meanwhile, these artists will devote themselves to social activites organized by the government to publicity promote the culture and history.
