Homework

Use some of the vocabulary from today in some writing. Choose a topic that lets you use the words we learned.

 normative guidance

setting (The context in which something takes place)

Juxtaposition (the fact of two things being seen or placed close together with contrasting effect.)
e.g The author juxtaposes the rights of the individual alongside the rights of the collective

contrast (we put to things together to discover different properties that only become apparent when we see these things along side each other)

compare (what are the similarities and differences between to things)

syntax (sentence structure, grammar, pronunciation)
semantics (meaning)
