ex: China is self-sufficient, we can survive on our own.

2.paramedics= people working in hospitals/ clinics
ex: In China, it’s mandatory for the paramedics to get the COVID shots.

3. pandemic= 流行病
ex: It’s no longer a pandemic if the death rate is below 10%.

4. buyer (noun)= 代购
ex: I can’t ask my buyer to buy the perfumes.

5. expire (verb)= overdue 过期
ex: Do perfumes expire?

6. hoard (verb)= 囤
ex: I don’t hoard perfumes because I only use that particular one.

7. license plate= 车牌
ex: my parents will buy the license plate for me.
