Grammar

a/an – singular/general/countable

ex. She ordered a witch to put a mouse trap.

ex. Bring me a cup of milk/Bring me a milk

the – singular & plural/specific/countable & uncountable

ex. There is a mouse on the floor. The mouse is Boy.

ex. Oh, look at the mice on the table!

ex. Bring me the banana ice cream!

don’t add anything – plural/general/uncountable

ex. She ordered all the witches to put mouse traps on the floor.

ex. Anna ordered mouse traps from the store.

ex. Anna ordered milk, juice and ice cream at the store.

uncountable -> countable 

add a counter (piece/cup/glass/box/bottle/pile/slice)

ex. a piece of pie/a box of cookies/a pile of money/a slice of pizza
