Vocabulary
assignment – a piece of work given to you by a teacher
ex. Your assignment for today is to bring in a candy bar.
reward – something given to you as a gift for the work you did well
ex. AJ thinks he was rewarded a candy bar for not bringing in his homework.
jealous – ji du
ex. Everyone else is jealous of AJ when he showed them the candy bar.
recess – break time
ex. I’m going to buy an ice cream during recess.
genius – very smart, intelligent
ex. Ryan thinks he is a genius for getting in trouble on purpose.
pin – a sharp needle

ex. Ryan put a pin on Ms Daisy’s chair on purpose so that he will get sent to the Principal’s office.
