Vocabulary

nap time – to sleep for a brief period of time

news broke out – get out suddenly

sports arena – a stadium for sports competitions

javelin – a long spear thrown in a sports event

Olympic games – an international sports event that is held once every 4 years.

amateur – not a professional

ex. Big Nose is an amateur magician whereas Pink Panther is a professional.

average/mediocre – in the middle, not too good

ex. Big Nose’s magic tricks are average/mediocre.

Grammar

trick-o-treat – verb/noun

ex. I went trick-0-treating last weekend.

ex. My classmates and I trick-o-treat every Halloween.

We can’t talk, we are only allowed to nap.

Play trick-o-trick.

In a sports arena/stadium. Big Nose and his dog, and Pink Panther and Pink Panther’s horse competed in the race.

I think there is no team sports. 

He threw one of his medals to Big Nose since he had not won any medals. And, Big Nose is very happy so he tried to put on that medal, but it was too big for him. He was very, very sad.

He has one medal. I think the horse entered every sport.

He used a submarine and also a gun. He also used the gun in the javelin event to make the javelin travel further.
