Vocabulary

merchandise – goods you can buy in store

ex. Sofia owns many Disney merchandises.

trick-o-treat – ask for sweets on Halloween

ex. I went to Disneyland to go trick-o-treating this Halloween.

ex. Everyone will say “trick-o-treat” when they ask for sweets on Halloween.

staff – people who work at a place

ex. The staff of Disneyland gave all the kids sweets.

hint – a clue to help you get the answer to something

ex. Can you give me a hint?

take a day off  – one day holiday

ex. My sister can take a day off school on her birthday.
