cracks sbd/me up – to laugh very hard

ex. Her jokes cracks us up every time.

get married – to have a wife or a husband

ex. Miss Daisy got married and became Mrs Daisy.

Miss/Ms. for unmarried women

throw vs. drop 

throw – to send something through the air with your arms

drop – to let something fall

fly – flies (present simple tense)

boo vs. boom 

boo – what you say when you scare somebody

ex. Roy was standing behind the door and he said, “BOO!” when I walked in.

boom – a loud deep sound

ex. When a bomb explodes, it goes “BOOM!”

ex. fireworks/balloon/loudspeakers
