Vocabulary

acronym – an abbreviation formed from the first letters of other words, pronounced as a word

ex. NASA

abbreviation – a short form of a word or phrase

ex.VFD/BBC/UN

emphasise – to stress on sth

ex. The masked man kept emphasising what he knew to the twins.

ex. Count Olaf and his troupe took the wrong turn at the crossroads.
