Vocabulary

robe – a long piece of clothing that reaches your ankles

irrelevant – not important

ex. AJ doesn’t like maths class because he thinks it’s irrelevant.

nude – not wearing clothes

ex. Why is Neil called the “Nude Kid”?

stay on task/track – to continue with the same work/task; not get distracted and continue with the same plan or work

ex. The teacher told us to stay on task whenever we get noisy.

stand in single file – to stand with one person behind another

Grammar

jump over sbd/sth – across from one side to the other (the shape of the rainbow)

ex. My friend can jump over the other kid.

*adjectives are words that describe nouns

Comparing Adjectives 

more than 3 syllables – more/most

ex. interesting/exciting/amazing/annoying

only 1 or 2 syllables – – er/est

ex. fun/angry/busy/small/sharp/clever

ex. Roy is cleverer than AJ.
