Vocabulary

guardian – somebody who takes care of another person (ex. child)

ex. Nick is acting as the twin’s guardian until they become adults.

mature – having reached a point where you develop emotionally like an adult

ex. Mabel appears to be more mature than Dipper.

protagonist – the main character in a story

antagonist – the bad character in a story

ex. Gideon is the antagonist in the first season.

apprentice – a person who is learning a skill from someone who has that skill

ex. The chef took in a new apprentice.

shape-shifter – a person or creature that can change into a different shape or form

ex. Bale is a shape-shifter.
