Former – the word ‘former’ is similar to ‘ex’ but can be used with friends, classmates and co-workers

Trip – noun

Terrorist attack (countable noun phrase) – A planned attack against civilians for political or religious reasons
There was a terrorist attack in France that year

Handcuff (verb) – to use handcuffs to lock someone’s hands together
The police handcuffed the man

Handcuffs (noun) – metal bracelets used to lock someone’s hands together
The policeman let me use his handcuffs

Grammar

It’s been 25 years after I graduated from the university
It’s been 25 years since I graduated from the university

We only have reunion 5 years or 10 years
We only have a reunion once every 5 or 10 years
