VIP Class Notes (JJ)

Hi my dear teacher and friends(Tibo,Vicki,JJ):
It is surprising that I writer the letter for u,heiehi.~Last class we taiked about the history of britain and the history of china.I think I prefer britain history more than chinese history, because many historical evevts in china are apocryphal, like the romance of the three kingdoms, adapted from the Chronicles of the three kingdoms, there is a strong literary processing color inside them.
And maybe english history shorter than chinese, but there are a lot of things is real at least.Just like the house of plantagenet(house of Anjou),the longest dynasty of England history. The kings who descended from Geoffrey(the founder of the plantagent dynasty)ruled England for more than 2 centuries, begining with Henry II, inherited crown in 1154 year, and ending with Richard II, he was relieved of it by his cousin Henry Bolingbroke in 1399 year. During this time there were eight Kings. Some kings are immortalized in history and the others are notorious.
My favorite king is Richard I the lionheart. The second king of the house of plantagenet. During his ten years as king,RichardI spent almost his time fighting with bows and swords. As a Catholic,he was join the third Crusade by the Holy see.He was the general of the third Crusade,in the third Crusade he was defeated Saladin(the leader of IslamicMuslim in the east)’sarmy in the battle of Assouf.Defeating Saladin three times in spite of being outnumbered. He was accepted one of the outstanding military strategists on Europe in medieval. He was a true knight of the medieval.
I’m so sorry about write a lot of boring history.I’m just interesting in this history,so I write more.
I,m going to write a paper of the piantagent dynasty, and I hope you can give me some advice and inspiration, heihei.~~
En…..Time is very late now,and I’m going to sleep in my chamber now.I’ll see you next time~~~~.

Revised:
It is surprising that I am writing a letter for you. Last class we talked about the history of the Great Britain and the history of China. I think I prefer british history more than chinese history because many historical events in chinese history are apocryphal/fictitious, like the romance of the three kingdoms, adapted from the Chronicles of the three kingdoms, there are strong literary colors in the stories.
And maybe English history is shorter than Chinese history but there is a lot more truth at least. Just like the house of Plantagenet (House of Anjou), the longest dynasty of British history. The kings who descended from Geoffrey (the founder of the Plantagenet dynasty) ruled England for more than two centuries, beginning with Henry II, who inherited the crown in year 1154 and ending with Richard II, who was released by his cousin Henry Bolingbroke in year 1399. During this time, there were eight Kings. Some kings are commemorated while others are reprimanded in history.
My favorite king is Richard I, the Lionheart, the second king of the house of Plantagenet. During his ten years as king, Richard I spent almost all his time fighting with bows and swords and didn’t have much time to deal with the politics within his empire. As a Catholic, he joined the Third Crusade, organized by the Holy See. He was the general of the third Crusade and defeated Saladin (the leader of Islamic Muslim in the East)’s army in the battle of Assouf. He defeated Saladin three times in spite of being outnumbered.
He was crowned/considered as one of the most outstanding military strategists in Europe during the Medieval times. He was a true symbol of chivalry of the Medieval times and has set example for modern British gentlemen with his manners. The chivalry and ladylike movements have been carried through history until today.
