I have 10 years of work experience in different industries. First I was working in the hospitality industry for 4-5 years, then I was working in the IT industry, now I work at a state-owned enterprise. Now our company is working with the local government and we provide support for many government businesses. For ex: we have a project called Smart City where we collect the city’s data and analyse it to solve social problems such as traffic jam. You can use this data to help make people’s lives better. And another part of the work that we do is that we help the government analyse data on the demographics of the city to serve as market research for different companies. For example, a shampoo company could use these information to decide how many bottles to manufacture every year.

I think I am a pretty stubborn person as a leader. I always insist on pursuing my ideas. I have tried to communicate with different peers and listen to their different ideas. It can generate better results from different perspectives.

How do you cope with competition between coworkers? (Ex: what if your coworker stole one of your clients behind your back)

I always resolve their problem at first and bring more value to their company. Even if my coworker steals my client, it won’t go anywhere. I communicate with my client closely and figure out their needs and give them the quickest response. I make sure to build trust between me and my clients. When I am dealing with my clients, my goal is to build long term partnerships. I always put in the extra time and effort to cultivate these relationships so I am confident that I can gain my clients back even if my coworkers try to steal them from me.
