Last year，my company’s CFO decided to establish overall budget system to control costs and fees,and this project was arranged to our financial department and required to accomplish in two months.I and other three colleagues were asked to do this work.
As all of us never had practiced budget module,we had to research the principle and primary coverages of the budget system firstly,then we discussed the necessary contents which we needed to put into the system depend on the characters of our company, the contents include budget principles, budget bodies,budget contents, budget control and budget analysis and assessment.Each of us four finished a part of these,we thought and communicated almost everyday and modified several times before we put all parts together to form a formal system.Nevertheless we also needed to design some spreadsheets to collect predicted dates from all departments and business units, in order to calculate the difference between the real and the budget dates and analyze the reasons in the coming months .Our manager and CFO approved the practicability of this system,and then delivered to CEO for agreement.Through two months’ endeavor,we ultimately accomplished this work and of which we got a great affirmation.
