Writing exercise

My father was born in shanghai but he had to leave the city to countryside when he was twenty because of the policy. When he was twenty-eight and became two children’s father, he came back to shanghai. People have low salary generally at those times. I remembered my parents saved while year for a TV only cost 400 Yuan. Almost no family had car and people go to work by bus or by bike, so the road wasn’t crowd like now and the air was clearer. Children are told not to throw litter anywhere and not to go through the crossroads when the traffic lamp is red and the other rules in life. The relation of neighbors was friendlier then now. Shanghai isn’t “my shanghai†at now but I even love it.
