Should the international community do more to tackle the threat of global warming?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Global warming has became one of the most significant issues human could face in the modern society, due to greater pollution we caused. Governments from the globe have considered to take some actions to protect our one and only homeland.
In my opinion, all citizens in the world should be more aware of the significance of air pollution, and also be more concerned about their daily activities which might cause even more damage to the earth. The problem of greenhouse gas emissions has became worse and worse as time goes, and also due to the growing demand for minerals and trees with accelerating development of the world. Consequently, the threatening pressure of harm to the earth has increased, for example, humans’ food chain would then be damaged due to the higher temperatures.
With that in mind, governments or all interest groups has been thinking of ways to lower the emissions. A lot of countries have implied some listing rules for the factories’ gas emissions, especially for mining industry. For instance, Australia, which is a country that is known for its excellent performance in exported commodity goods, have once denied an proposal of an establishment of an out-door coal mining area, with the concerns of there would be greater emissions, and sooner causing damages towards eco-system, such as the rising sea level.
In conclusion, actions regarding to the global warming would be necessary and even urgent, as it is everyone’s responsibility to protect the earth, and ourselves from danger.
