VIP Class Notes (Jesse) [W]

On January 1, 2019, I ran 10 kilometers race, and this was my first time do this. This race was organized by Jing’An district government which called Jing’An New Year run. Our company was (sponsor) of this activity, so a lot of our company’s employees entered this competition. There were two types of races, 5KM and 10KM. 5KM was from Jing’an park to Shanghai train station, and 10KM was from Jing’an park to Daning Lingshi park. 10KM’s race time was 2 hours, and 5KM’s was one hour. Between this time, the traffic was controlled. Social cars and pedestrian were can’t get in the road of race. All the traffic lights were green, and this was my first time met this situation, it was memorable. When we finished this race, everyone got a big of gifts. There were a (medal), two bottles of mineral water and other small things. There were 4,800 people took part in this race. In 1KM, the champion of women spend 34 minuets, the men was 31 minutes. My mark was incomparable to them, but in our company’s marketing team, I was second, and the prize was a bathroom heater.
I’m very happy that I can have this experience, and I will keep running in the future.
