Writing exercise
Situation : John ( a good friend) wants to borrow money from you get an MBA from Qinghua Uni. Give him advice on what he should do.
First, I will let John know I would like to borrow money to him if he completely decides to apply for an MBA from Qinghua Uni. But I will still ask him why he wants to get an MBA? If the MBA is required by his job or he wants it just for getting an improvement of his own? If it’s required by the job, except MBA, if there are any other optional choices and what are the advantages and disadvantages between these options? If it’s the way that he wants to get an improvement of his own, then what improvements he can get from the MBA and why he wants to get these improvements.
I would suggest him to take seriously on the above questions, and if he could give a definite answer for each question, then it would prove that he have got ready to apply for the MBA.
