Yesterday I went to a music festival called spring wave with my friends which made us so tried.
We bought this ticket 2 months ago and we prepared a lot of things for it. Unfortunately, it was / had been raining from the day before yesterday. Although it stopped raining yesterday, the grass was still wet, so all the audience stood on the wet grass and the ground was so muddy which made us feel uncomfortable / which ruined the experience. Also, I missed a singer who I wanted to listen to, because my friends forgot to bring the tickets. Before the festival, we bought a picnic blanket to sit on at the festival, and I thought we could [ I was planning for us to ] sit on the grass with some food when we were listening to the music. However, when we entered the festival through the gate, the guard forbid us to bring the food, so we couldn’t follow through with our plans. The guard told us that we could put the food outside and I told the guard it would get lost but he promised that we would be able to find the things we put there. As I expected, after the show all the things were all over the place [ messy ].

It wasn’t as fun an experience as what I thought.
