I like to talk a walk because this is a moment to help myself collect through also observing everything surrounding. As usual but Today I choose the most famous busy street for a walk which has the most fashion and high-end department stories alongside. Street trees are decorated with flower shape of light bulbs. The wall of the shopping mall changed the latest fashion product advisement. The non-stopping the car horning becomes a soundtrack background. The Sky filled up with the variety of dazzling light effects. People just walked away without saying anything when they were bumping into each other.
At the moment that I realized all these stimulations occupy our senses, there is no space for any refine subtlely.

Sensory Numbness

I like to take walks because this is a moment to help myself collect my thoughts through observing my surroundings. As usual today I chose the most famous busy street which has the most fashionable and high-end department stores alongside the road. The street trees are decorated with flower shaped light bulbs. The wall of the shopping mall has become the latest fashion product advertisement. The non-stop car horns becomes a soundtrack to my wandering. The Sky is filled up with a variety of dazzling light effects. People walk away without saying anything as they bump into each other.
At that moment I realized all this stimulation occupies our senses, with no space for any refined subtlety.

I like to take walks. For me this is a moment to allow myself to collect my thoughts by observing my surroundings. As usual, today I chose the most famous busy street in Shanghai, with trees dotted along the path, covered in flower shaped light bulbs and fashionable, high-end department stores creating a backdrop of materialism and excess. Beside me, the wall of the shopping mall is plastered with the latest fashion product advertisements and I quickly notice that the non-stop car horns have become a soundtrack to my wandering. The Sky is filled up with a variety of dazzling light effects. People walk away without saying anything as they bump into each other.
At that moment I realized all this stimulation occupies our senses, with no space for any refined subtlety.

This lack of space in our daily lives limits our ability to take in what’s really happening around us. I would encourage everyone, during those gaps, when you are waiting for the subway to arrive or for your yoga class to begin, to simply observe the space around you, and avoid picking up your cell phone or planning the rest of your day in your mind. In doing this, in allowing yourself to be calm and be present in this gap, the space will open up for our innate humility, compassion, and …. to arise.

1 don’t fill up space
2 Two what is different between stimulation and Shakti
3 inhale plus and exhale plus
4 money cannot buy pure joy,
