Writing exercise

Last Wednesday, I met a Swedish client who had two passports of both Sweden and Iran. My boss asked me to pick him up from the airport and took him to our Anting lab for the audit. I called him on Tuesday afternoon to make sure that he had well known about our arrangement and I would wait for him at the outside of the international arrivals at 11:00 am the next day. To be honest, I was a little nervous when I called him at that time and I also told him this real feeling of mine while we were on the way to our lab the following day. It took about two hours from the airport to our lab by car, and fortunately, he was so nice and talktive which made me feel relaxed. We talked a lot, from the Swedish weather to the Chinese food, from his two passports to the special policy of China, from his business trip to his plan of next holiday, and of course, he was interesting about our lab and I did a brief introudction for him. We also talked about the study of language since he asked me if I had been to Europe before and where I had learned my English. I was so appreciated that I could have this opportunity to treat him and chat with him in English. During the communication, I realized that I had got a great improvement on my English although my pronunciation sounded a little weird and my grammar was not perfect and even my vocabulary was lack. I didn’t consider these factors too much at that moment, but with full of confidence, I just enjoyed the trip. It was a very special experience which let me know that I could get better and better if I can persist in leaning English.
