I owe a lot of corrections so recently it has taken all of my time! I was late because my brother asked me to go out for a hot pot with him today.

let = allow – you want to do it – your mum says “ok you can”
get = ask – you can, but you don’t mind – “let’s go out…”
make = force – you don’t want to, but you must – “you must go to school!”
eg. My mum lets me play games if I have finished my homework
eg2. My brother gets me to go out for lunch with him sometimes
eg3. My mum makes me go to school every day
