Owing to a supply of cultures in the world,it stands to reason that enormous languages have bloosomed throughout the history of mankind.Nevertheless, there is a few languages dying out every year,as a result of globalization, anything in countries becoming increasingly identical nowadays. From the perspective of some people,as fewer languages remain, life is easier than before. It’s possible that they are right to some extent. The prevalence of a single language give helping hands to those coming from diverse cultures to interact with others. But,then, what if the identity of languages, eventually, lead to the identity of culture? What if there is only a single culture remaining in the world?
The world itself has been witnessing massive extinction of languages. As shown in a study from UNESCO in 2009,approximately 2500 kinds of languages is disappearing, which means that 2500 varieties of culture is being isolated from us.Language has served as a vital bridge, linking diverse cultures, impelling communication ,and finally promoting the progress of civilization. If the diversity of language fades away until only one remains someday, mankind will be stopped from progressing,no longer creative and imaginative, like monopoly in finicial area.
It is true that life will be easier without endeavor to try learning other languages. And life will be more tedious without intention to deplore other cultures on that day.

Owing to a supply of cultures in the world, it stands to reason that an enormous number of languages have blossomed throughout the history of mankind. Nevertheless, there are a few languages dying out every year, and as a result of globalization countries are becoming increasingly identical nowadays. From the perspective of some people,as fewer languages remain, life is easier than before. It’s possible that they are right to some extent. The prevalence of a single language gives helping hands to those coming from diverse cultures to interact with others. (But, then, what if the identity of languages, eventually leads to the identity of culture?) But then, what if the lack of diversity of language eventually leads to the homogenization of culture? What if there is only a single culture remaining in the world?

The world itself has been witnessing massive extinction of languages. As shown in a study from UNESCO in 2009, approximately 2500 kinds of languages are disappearing, which means that 2500 varieties of culture are being neglected and therefore will eventually be forgotten. Language has served as a vital bridge, linking diverse cultures, impelling communication ,and finally promoting the progress of civilization. If the diversity of language fades away until only one remains someday, mankind will be stopped from progressing,no longer creative and imaginative, like a monopoly in the financial sector.

On the day that only one language remains, it is true that life will be easier without the endeavor of learning other languages and life will indeed also be more tedious without the ability to explore other cultures.
