Speaking exercise

i went to beihei during this christmas holiday. I went there with my colleague from my last company because we would like to go somewhere warm during the holiday and beihei is a cost-effective destination and we just have 4 days for the holiday so I think beihei is a nice choice, so we bought the flight ticket and went there. Actually, it took us about 3 hours to / beihei is actually quite far away from shanghai, it was in guangxi province in the south west of china. It’s a province next to guangdong province. We book the shangrila beihei with staff rate and we just went there. It was a quick decision. We have not much expectation to the city and it turned out to be boring.

i went to beihei during this christmas holiday with one of my colleagues from my last company because we would like to go somewhere warm during the holiday and beihei is a cost-effective destination. We just had 4 days for the holiday / a 4 day holiday so I thought beihei would be a nice choice, so we booked a flight and went there. Actually, it took us about 3 hours to get there as it’s actually quite far away in guangxi province which is in the south west of china next to guangdong. We booked the shangrila beihei with a code which is exclusive for staff and got us a staff rate. It was an impulse decision so we didn’t have very high expectations of the city and in fact it turned out to be boring.

i went out for dinner with one of my best friends the day before last who is my classmate in the university and now we are both in Shanghai which is really convenient and good for our friendship. We hadn’t seen each other for a while so we decided to go out for dinner to catch up which we do a few times a year. We met at the shopping mall in pudong which is in-between where we both live and found a restaurant to have a seat and actually we didn’t have much time after work.
