Use some of the vocabulary from today in some writing. Choose a topic that lets you use the words we learned.

a huge amount of stress

drink – drank – drunk
eg. I drink every day. I drank last night. I have drunk 3 drinks tonight

slice of lemon
eg. I had a beer with a slice of lemon

at the chinese table – at the chinese dinner table

bottoms up – to drink something all at once / in one mouthful

cup / glass (more formal)

after overnight – the next day / the next morning

I took an overnight flight = started at 10pm and went until the next morning

they are willing to take care of them

carbs – tan shui
eg. I have carbs every morning

you can’t have your cake and eat it too = you can’t have the best of both sides. if you want 1 thing, you must accept other things.
