eg. Yes, i think education is important but it’s not the be all and end all.

there were no shortcuts in life, i did everything the hard way 

to have a bun in the oven – to be pregnant
eg. she has a bun in the oven

he has a temper – he easily gets angry

he’s moody – he’s up and down emotionally

spark = passion
eg. our relationship has lost its spark
