indigenous – native to a region
eg. Kangaroos are indigenous to Australia

parliament – “par li ment”

hurdle – sth that you need to overcome

recreational = leisure
eg. smoking and drinking is a recreational activity for most people

infused – to be mixed with sth naturally and completely
eg. the water was infused with tea

jurisdiction – the region where laws can be enforced
