Writing exercise

Make a difficult decision
I need to make an important decision recently: To be a doctor or to quit being a doctor? I am now a physician in Shanghai, but I will immigrate to America to live with my husband one year later. In the United States, I can go to the laboratory to do some science research, but cannot be a physician, unless I could complete the United States Medical Licensing Examination. To my opinion, trying my best to complete the test or just trying to find a lab job is a difficult decision. If I choose to complete the exam, I will need to devote a whole year and may end up not passing the exam, or will have to go back to work in the lab. It’s a difficult choice for me to invest in this year.
