VIP Class Notes (Jesse)

Writing exercise

My son got up at six thirty yesterday morning, earlier than usual, and he recited the English text to his teacher at WeChat. The teacher replied that he was the first student to finish it and praised him. He jumped up with joy and said that today would be a good day. After breakfast, I took my son to school and promised that I would take him home after school. Then I went to work at eight. In the morning, I attended a monthly office meeting. The director of our institute summarized the work finished last month and the director of every department talked about the work plan of his own department for next month. In the afternoon, I helped a retired colleague to revise his summary. When I discussed his article with him, I felt very sleepy and I almost fell asleep. After work, I kept my promise to pick my son up from school, and when I arrived at his school gate, he had been waiting for me for 5 minutes.
