With the generalization of technology, carsĀ have becomeĀ increasingly common as household vehicles today. Meanwhile, problemsĀ have been arisingĀ oneĀ afterĀ another. Thanks to the skyrocketing number of cars, traffic suffersĀ a lot in cosmopolitan cities like Shanghai, Beijing, TokyoĀ etc / and so on.Ā On the other hand, it directly leadsĀ to noiseĀ pollution, smogĀ and safety problems /Ā hazards.Ā While cars bring us great convenience, theyĀ also cause over-crowding in city centers, contaminationĀ and noisy. So perhaps it is time for us to seekĀ aĀ way which preventsĀ the deterioration of the situation and establishesĀ a better future in the interest of the public.
Since traffic jams haveĀ become such commonplaceĀ in Shanghai these days, governmentĀ hasĀ issuedĀ bans whichĀ limit the number of cars which lack local licences on the road, giving rise to the fact that the price of local licenses remainsĀ atĀ a high level as demandsĀ exceedsĀ supply.

Then a law cameĀ out, which stated that each person is only able to have one local license. So basically, citizens are allowed to only have one car that canĀ drive freely in Shanghai, which is a restriction on car ownership and use. Thatā€™s the law which hasĀ alreadyĀ beenĀ introduced and more will come out in the future in countless other places where traffic jams tend to be a critical / critical / serious problem, from my perspective.
Besides pollution, noise and safety problems, which involve the whole of nature as well as mankind, are also urgent for us to cope with. Hence, there is need to cry for alternative forms of transport which not only preserve nature but also decrease the risk of traffic accidents. For instance, driver-less systems have been introduced to some kinds of smart automobiles recently which are supposed to be in compliance with traffic laws more strictly, thus avoiding unexpected accidents. Furthermore, environmentally-friendlyĀ technologies such as electric-powered carsĀ  are more popular than ever before nowadays. l firmly believe that those alternative forms of transport will play a profitable and significant role in the future of transportation / in the future transportation industry.
Conclusively, cars are essentials but we need toĀ guide them in the correct direction, to make a better life and a better world. Considering the accelerating number of cars, it is of necessity to introduce either laws which control the car ownership and use, or alternative forms of transport.
