Writing a story

introduction – tells me who they are, what time, where, what do they want to do?

Characters: Tom (boy), Dirty the dog (dog)
Time: morning, 10AM on the weekend, summer
Looks / Want: Dirty the dog is very dirty, there is some mud on the ground, Tom is wearing a blue shirt and a pair of yellow trousers (pants), and sneakers. They are in the park on the grass. They want to wash Dirty the dog.

body – what happened?

Tom put a bath on the grass and put some soap in the bath with some water. Then, he put Dirty the dog in the bath because he is dirty. Then, he washed the dog for 15 minutes and finally he put Dirty the dog on the grass who is clean and Tom said “good boy”.

conclusion – after that what happened, what did they learn, how did they feel after the story?

Learn: the dog likes to have a bath and he is not scared of the cold water.
Feel: the dog feels very happy and comfortable now. Tom is happy too.
After: they play together.

One day, in the summer time at 10AM in the morning, a boy named Tom and a dog named Dirty wanted to have a bath because Dirty was very very dirty. They were outside in the park and Tom was wearing a blue shirt and a pair of trousers because it was summer time and it was very hot.

Tom put a bath on the grass and put some soap in the bath with some water. Then, he put Dirty the dog in the bath because he is dirty. Then, he washed the dog for 15 minutes and finally he put Dirty the dog on the grass who is clean and Tom said “good boy”.

After the bath, Dirty learned that he likes to have a bath and he is not scared of the cold water. He was very happy because Tom said he is a good boy, so Tom is happy too. At lunch time, they play together and are very happy all day.
