The chart provides an illustration of the descrepancy in education background between dwellers of different ages and genders in Glasgow in 2010.
It is evident that the figure as regards to no certification remains stable at nearly one tenth by the age between 35 and 50, followed by a prominent growth as age increases,peaking at 72 percent since age of 75. However,a opposite trend can be found in the weight about university degree, with merely one fourth for the age of citizens over 75.
When it comes to the disparity as for genders, the gap between men and women seems relatively narrow. For the population who have got the school certificate, the proportion is exactly the same as each other which stands at 35 percent. While the male ratio for university degree exceeds the female counterpart by 3 percent, the women with no qualification is 3 percent less than men.
