Vocabulary

atrocities – really bad things that people do (often during war)
eg. atrocities are often committed during war

rebel / rebel

deduction / deduce – to take sth away from sth (to make a conclusion)
induction – the introduction meeting / training at a company
conduction – the ability of sth to transfer energy
duct – like a vent
duct tape
reduce / reduction – to make less

retain / retainer (to keep) – salary / payment

beckon / summon / request 

reconcile – to fix a problem between 2 people / between yourself and a decision
eg. im trying to reconcile my brothers relationship with my father

the Australian government signed a reconciliation agreement with the aborigines
