ie. I haven’t gone to the doctor’s in a long time.
ie. I have been learning English for a long time.
ie. I had been learning English for a long time before I realized that I will never improve.  (Started in the past, not anymore)

about/for/of/by/in
ie. Report for experts: 论文是写给专家看的, 为了专家写的
ie. Report on/about experts: 论文是关于专家的事的 (on is for topics)
ie. Report of/by experts: 专家写的 专家出的 (by is better for works… for the author)
ie. Report in English: 语言 (only for language)
