The buzzword “lying flat” is used to describe the attitude of younger generation to the life and work. In my opinion, I don’t think it is negativity. We just use this word to express the life desires/life attitudes or to show our insistence on the overloaded work. Also, “lying flat” is a double-edged sword; it is not fully as positive among all as I mentioned above, some people do nothing/ enjoy their lazy time and attribute this to the “lying flat”.

Pofang: it was first used to describe the failure in games. It refers to that enemy destroy your defense system and you don’t have the resistance ability. But now it is mostly used to describe the emotional change. Someone are shocked/touched when he/she experience specific situations or see some info, which affect them a lot.

The buzzword “lying flat” is used to describe the attitude of younger generation for life and work. In my opinion, I don’t think it is negativity. We just use this word to express the life attitudes or to show our inactive reaction for the overloaded work. Also, “lying flat” is a double-edged sword; it is not as positive as I mentioned above, some people do nothing and enjoy their lazy time and attribute this to the “lying flat”.

On one hand, people do(emphasis) need a “lying flat” time to release their pressure and keep their work-life balance. On the other hand, people use this word to make excuses (n) /rationalize/justify their laziness.

Pofang: it was first used to describe the failure in computer games. It refers to the fact (n)  that(phrase) enemies can destroy your defense system and you don’t have the resistance ability.
