The name of the movie is “Green Book” and it’s an American movie which was first released in 2018 and was showed in China in 2019
This movie was based on/originated from the real story and it told a plot of friendship that across races and classes. Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali, who are co-starting in this movie, won the Oscar Nominations at the 91st Academy Awards in 2019. At the beginning of the movie, Tony (Viggo Mortensen played) was an unemployment and needed to look for a new job for life. Tony was suggested to interview as a driver for a black pianist, Tang(Mahershala Ali played) by his friend. Tony would be responsible for pickup of Tang’s southern tour. Though they know there’s severe racial apartheid in southern places at that time, Tony have no choice to do this for the money and Tang need a professional drive who can arrange the route for him. The story gradually began based on this cues and Tony arranged all the things according to the “green book” guide, which acquired from Tang’s company and it marked the allowable places for black people. At the end of the movie, through the ups and downs of this tour journey, both of them found the true-self and changed the stereotypes.

The racial discrimination is a long history issue around the whole world and any society. To be honesty, more or less, we all have this thought in our mind. The people from different classes, different countries, and possessing the distinctive powers cannot understand others well and treat others equally.
Also, for some people, we are not confident and we are keen of being a part of some group, like Tang, though he is a successful man, he was confused and struggled at the beginning. And Tony, though he was not successful as Tang, as a white man, he looked down Tang at first.
In this film, it shows that we can be friends and we can protect the person we want to protect and no matter how rich you are, no matter how big the difference/gap between you and others. You need to be confident and insist on your belief.
